CME

The following is a history of this 73-year-old Caucasian male who presented with extreme pain and discomfort.

Patient presents his diabetic one oral medication, his blood pressure on is 140/60, he has good appropriate section, he has been sharpened all sensation. He states that he exercises four to five times a week for at least one hour at a time. He has no known allergies, it isn’t generally good health. The circulation is well within normal limits he has a good DP and PT pulses bilaterally.

He states that his foot began to hurt them some weeks ago and is continuously gotten worse. He comments that he can hardly wear a shoe. The pain is more severe in the evening, and nothing that he has been taking at home seems to help.

Here are the rules for one CME credit

  1. using the above history design a comprehensive diagnostic initiative
  2. using your initiative designed a comprehensive treatment plan
  3. Support your treatment plan using diagnostic results – these may be any teacher care to create, however, you should know that these photos should represent the patient.
  4. There is available to you to open dialog through the web site you should by e-mail contact the webmaster and yes for the results of the test she wished to run. These answers should lead you to a proper conclusion. You may contact as often as you like for the test results you choose.
  5. After having submitted your treatment plan and diagnosis you will be contacted was a results of this patient
  6. If you are correct you will be given one CME credit if you are not and will be given a series of results which you will have to interpret and defend your diagnosis.

This exercise is to allow you to familiarize yourself with a condition that you may have not seen, or may have not treated – thus giving you an extra inch in your practice.
